Commentary for Avodah Zarah 122:15
ההוא כרכא דהוה יתיב ביה חמרא דישראל אשתכח עובד כוכבים דהוה קאי ביני דני אמר רבא אם נתפס עליו כגנב חמרא שרי ואי לא אסור:
There was certain town in which there was wine belonging to a Jew, a non-Jew was found standing among the jars. Rava said: If he would be arrested on that account as a thief, the wine is permitted, otherwise it is prohibited.
Daf Shevui to Avodah Zarah
The question that needs to be asked here is whether we need to be concerned that the non-Jew drank from or even touched the wine. Rava says it depends whether people would think him a thief for standing there. If they would, then he will not have time to drink the wine, so the wine is permitted. But if people do not care if he is standing there, then the wine is forbidden.
