והאמר רב נחמן אמר רבה בר אבוה אין חזקה לנזקין

— Said Raba: It does indeed mean against [occupation by] the husband, but [Rab refers to the case where] for instance he dug in the field pits, ditches or caves.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Thereby spoiling the field, which he was not entitled to do unless he was its legal owner. Hence if his wife does not protest against such action, it gives him hazakah. ');">⁶</span>
