מאי שנא אמה דמיצטוותא אברתא ואזוגא דשבקינן לה איהי נמי תיצטוותא אאמה ואזוגא דשבקינן לה אמה אברתא מיצטוותא ברתא אאמה לא מיצטוותא:

[IF HE BUYS] OLIVE-TREES FOR FELLING, HE MUST LEAVE TWO SHOOTS.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' To provide for the future propagation of the olives. ');">⁵</span> <b><i>GEMARA</i></b>.
