ולרב זביד קשיא מתניתין דזבין לחמש שנין:

because the stem does not [usually] produce [any shoots].<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' And if, sometimes, it happens that shoots do grow, they must be regarded as the property of the owner of the land.
