ומדרבי יוחנן אמר תלמיד רבי יהושע בן לוי אמר בן

And the other says: Whosoever does not leave a disciple.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Changes, [H] is rendered 'a son (or a pupil) who takes his father's (or teacher's) place'. ');">¹¹</span> It may he proved [that it was] R. Johanan who said 'a disciple'; for R. Johanan said:<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Ber, 5b. ');">¹²</span>
