בניו דתנן הכותב כל נכסיו לבניו וכתב לאשתו קרקע כל שהוא אבדה כתובתה
'One's slave' — for we learnt: If one gave all his property to his slave, in writing. [the latter] goes forth [as] a free man. [If] he left [for himself] some lands [the slave] does not go forth [as] a free man.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' V. supra 149b.
