מילתא דאיבעיא ליה לרבא פשיטא ליה לרבה דאמר רבה שורי גנבת והוא אומר לא גנבתי

'I did not steal it at all,' and when the first asks, 'What then is the reason of its being with you?' the other replies, 'I am a gratuitous bailee regarding it,' [and after affirming this defence by an oath he admitted his guilt], he would be liable,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' In accordance with Lev.
