R. Aha of Difti said to Rabina: It even stands to reason that ransom has to be paid in the case of Foot. For if you say that in the case of Foot there is no ransom, and that the Tanna<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' I.e., R. Tarfon ');">³⁴</span> might have made the inference from the law applicable to mere damage done by Foot,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' V. supra p. 135, n. 2. ');">³⁵</span>
