(דברים יד, כב) עשר תעשר בשתי מעשרות הכתוב מדבר אחד מעשר בהמה ואחד מעשר דגן ומקיש מעשר בהמה למעשר דגן

But it is permitted to dedicate [for Temple repair] the value [one receives for obliging somebody] in connection with dedicated sacrifices,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' One who received for example from another Israelite a sela' because he gives the animal to be offered up to a particular priest who is the son of the Israelite's daughter.');">²⁴</span>
