For it has been taught: This which follows is the evidence given by Hezekiah the father of Ikkesh before Rabban Gamaliel in Jabneh which he reported in the name of Rabban Gamaliel the Elder: Wherever an earthen vessel has no inside,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' I.e., is not hollowed out so as to be capable of containing something.');">⁶</span>
