תניא אמר רבן גמליאל בשלשה דברים אוהב אני את הפרסיים הן צנועין באכילתן וצנועין בבית הכסא וצנועין בדבר אחר:

There is a teaching : Rabban Gamaliel said : For three things I admire the Persians : They are temperate with their food, modest in the privy, and modest in another matter.
