אלופינו מסובלים רב ושמואל ואמרי לה רבי יוחנן ור' אלעזר חד אמר אלופינו בתורה ומסובלים במצות וחד אמר אלופינו בתורה ובמצות ומסובלים ביסורים

"Our leaders are well laden" — Rab and Samuel (another version : R. Johanan and R. Eleazar) [differ in interpretation] ; one says, "Our leaders" in Torah "are well laden" with religious duties ; the other says, "Our leaders" in Torah and religious duties "are well laden" with sufferings.
