מנא לך הא

Rab Judah said in the name of Rab: If the animal [after a fall] stood up, it need not be kept alive for twenty-four hours, but it certainly must be examined [against an internal injury].<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' It may be slaughtered immediately but the organs that might have been affected by the fall, e.g., the spinal cord and also the ribs and the intestines, must be examined for any injury.');">¹¹</span>
