R'Hanania propounded the question: What if the foetus [in the womb of an animal consecrated as a peace-offering] put forth its fore-limb into the Temple court?<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' I.e., while the sacrifice was being slaughtered within the precincts of the Temple court the foetus put forth a limb out of the womb into the space of the Temple court.');"><sup>3</sup></span>
