בשר כיון שנתעלם מן העין אסור

[raw] meat in the city one must determine [the meat] according to the majority of butchers; if it was cooked meat one must determine it according to the majority of the people that eat meat.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Maksh. II, 9. If the majority of butchers, or in the case of cooked meat if the majority of people that eat meat, are Jews, the meat found may be eaten.');">¹²</span>
