אמר רבי אסי שונין

- just as seeds, which will never ultimately convey the graver uncleanness, require to be rendered susceptible to uncleanness by a liquid,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Foodstuff, liquids, and earthenware vessels can in no circumstances be a primary source of uncleanness, for these are implicitly excluded from Num.
