- [It states,] 'Such as the shoulder' but not actually the shoulder; what is meant is the First Tithe, and this refers [to the state of things] after Ezra had penalized them.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' The suggestion therefore is that although the Levites are not to be given the First Tithe any more, it is not to be exacted from their own produce in favour of the priest. With regard to the shoulder, however, the matter is still in doubt.');">¹⁸</span>
