א"ר פפא בבור שמונה דכ"ע לא פליגי דלא בעינן פשוטין
R'Papa stated: In respect of a cistern that is eight [cubits wide]<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' In which case the length of each side of the space enclosed by the corner-pieces is twelve cubits: Eight cubits (the width of the cistern) plus twice two cubits (the length of the head and the greater part of a cow's body on each side of the cistern) .');"><sup>8</sup></span> no one disputes the ruling<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Lit., 'that all the world do not differ', sc. even R.
