קרי עלייהו ריש גלותא (ירמיהו ד, כב) חכמים המה להרע ולהיטיב לא ידעו:

also, since [the hall] was put up for the sake of privacy only,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' It was not intended as a dwelling place.');">⁹</span> [its walls] cannot be regarded as valid partitions.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' The hall cannot consequently have the status of a dwelling and the movement of objects in the orchard around it should, therefore, be forbidden.
