אלא מהא דתנן וזהו שאמרו העני מערב ברגליו רבי מאיר אומר אנו אין לנו אלא עני

For who is it that differed from him?<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' R. Simeon.');">¹⁷</span> R'Judah of course;<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Since R. Judah ruled that only the share of a man who is out of town imposes no restriction while R. Simeon ruled that even that of a man in town imposes no restrictions.');">¹⁸</span> but has it not been laid down that 'In a dispute between R'Judah and R'Simeon the halachah is in agreement with R'Judah'?<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' V. supra p. 325, n. 8.');">¹⁹</span>
