R. Hisda said: An embankment five handbreadths deep and a fence [on it] five handbreadths high are not reckoned together [to form a single partition of ten handbreadths];<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' So as to enclose a space which can be considered as 'private domain' for the purposes of transportation on Sabbath.
