נכתוב כל חלב כשב לא תאכלו א"נ כל חלב עז לא תאכלו שור וכשב ועז למה לי
Had the Divine Law written only 'sheep', so that 'ox' and 'goat' should be derived from it, I might object that 'sheep' was an exception,since it was singled out in that its fat-tail [is offered upon the altar].<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' V. Lev. III, 9.');"><sup>16</sup></span>
