Commentary for Ketubot 47:4

הניחא למאן דמתני לה אסיפא אלא למאן דמתני לה ארישא מאי איכא למימר משום דקא בעי למיתני שתי נשים שנשבו

This goes well according to him who teaches this in reference to the second clause, but according to him who teaches it in reference to the first clause, what is there to say? Because he wants to teach [the case of], “If two women were taken captive.”
