ר' ישמעאל סבר כותים גירי אריות הן וכהנים שנטמעו בהם כהנים פסולים היו שנאמר (מלכים ב יז, לב) ויעשו להם מקצותם כהני במות ואמר רבה בר בר חנה אמר רבי יוחנן מן הקוצים שבעם ומשום הכי פסלינהו
