א"ל אי לאו דדלאי לך חספא מי משכחת מרגניתא תותה אמר ליה ריש לקיש לר' יוחנן אי לאו דקילסך גברא רבה הוה אמינא מתני' מני רבי עקיבא היא דאמר המקיים כלאים לוקה

Reish Lakash explained to Rebbi Yochanon, If not for the fact that the great man praised you [by referring to you explanation as a pearl], I would have said that our Mishna is authored by Rebbi Akiva who says that one who maintains Kilayim incurs malkus.
