Now it was assumed that both these terms 'priest' and 'finger' were necessary [to signify this], as in the verse, And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Ibid. IV, 25.');">¹⁴</span>
