ותו עלה חמש וכנס אמה זהו סובב נמצא עשרים ושמונה על עשרים ושמונה עשרים ושמונה וארבע טפחים הוי

[The distance] from the [top of the] horns down to the sobeb was twenty-four handbreadths, that is, six handbreadths<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Or one cubit.');">¹⁷</span> less than half the height of the altar.
