חל יום הכיפורים להיות בשבת [וכו']: אמר רבה בר בר חנה אמר ר' יוחנן לא בבליים הם אלא אלכסנדריים הם ומתוך ששונאין את בבליים קורין אותם על שם בבליים

And lest you say that there is no wood in it, the text therefore states The pile thereof is fire and much wood.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Isa. XXX, 33. The reference in the verse is to Gehenna.');">²</span> And lest you say that this<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Deliverance from the fires of Gehenna, without further reward.');">⁴</span>
