או דלמא ושמע אישה לא מעכב אמר רבא ת"ש ושמע אישה פרט לאשת חרש שמע מינה

is not indispensable? — Said Raba, Come and hear: 'And her husband heard', — this excludes the wife of a deaf man. This proves it.
