אמר רב הונא אמר רב טעם אינו מקדש בעא מיניה רב חנא בר חיננא מרב הונא טעם מהו שיבדיל א"ל אני אומר טעם מבדיל ורב אסי אמר טעם אינו מבדיל
R'Huna said in Rab's name: Once he has tasted [food] he must not recite kiddush.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' In the evening, but just wait for the morrow.');"><sup>5</sup></span> R'Hana B'Hinena asked R'Huna: May he who has tasted [food] recite habdalah?<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' That evening - sc. at the termination of the Sabbath - , or must he to wait for the morrow.');"><sup>6</sup></span> I maintain, replied he, [that] he who has tasted [food] recites habdalah. But R'Assi said: He who has tasted [food] may not recite habdalah.
