א"ר יוחנן ששה חדשים נתעכבה שכינה לישראל במדבר שמא יחזרו בתשובה כיון שלא חזרו אמר תיפח עצמן שנאמר (איוב יא, כ) ועיני רשעים תכלינה ומנוס אבד מנהם ותקותם מפח נפש

'And from the city to the mountain', as it is written, And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Ezek.
