תנו רבנן (שמות כב, א) והוכה בכל אדם ומת בכל מיתה שאתה יכול להמיתו בשלמא והוכה בכל אדם איצטריך סד"א בעל הבית הוא דקים (להו) דאין אדם מעמיד עצמו על ממונו אבל אחר לא
