אמר ריש לקיש בתחילה מלך שלמה על העליונים שנאמר (דברי הימים א כט, כג) וישב שלמה על כסא ה' ולבסוף מלך על התחתונים שנאמר (מלכים א ה, ד) כי הוא רודה בכל עבר הנהר מתפסח ועד עזה
