Beth Shammai said: If the blood of sacrifices that is to be sprinkled on the outer altar was applied only once,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Instead of two sprinklings constituting four at the two opposite angles of the altar. ');"><sup>6</sup></span> the offering is valid, as it is said, <i>the blood of thy sacrifice shall be poured out</i><span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Deut. XII, 27. ');"><sup>7</sup></span>
