ומהדר אפיה לפורייה נמי לא אמרן אלא לארעא אבל במנא לית לן בה

But whatever provides both enjoyment and rejoicings, the Rabbis forbade; but that which is a luxury but not associated with rejoicing, the Rabbis did not forbid.
