Commentary for Shabbat 196:3

והכתיב תמים ההוא דליתו שלמין ולא ליתו דניסרא ואידך נמי הכתיב יחדיו ההוא דלא לישלחופינהו מהדדי

and not divided.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Each board was to be of one piece. not of two joined together (Rashi). Jast. translates: the boards were to be solid, not veneered.
