אמר רבן שמעון בן גמליאל נוהגין היו וכו': תניא א"ר צדוק כך היה מנהגו של בית רבן גמליאל שהיו נותנין כלי לבן לכובס ג' ימים קודם לשבת וצבועים אפילו בע"ש ומדבריהם למדנו שהלבנים קשים לכבסן יותר מן הצבועין
