כתבה קודם שתקבל עליה שבועה פסולה [שנא'] והשביע ואחר כך וכתב

As judgment [could only be delivered] in the daytime,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' This was the rule of judicial procedure; v. Sanh. 32a. ');">⁸</span> so a scroll for a suspected woman [could only be written] in the daytime.
