אמר רב חסדא

But does not he [the purchaser] bring an animal [for a burnt-offering] with the loss [of limb]?<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' The limb belongs to the seller who dedicated it. Therefore it is found that the purchaser is not offering up a whole burnt-offering while he vowed to offer up a whole animal.');">⁷</span>
