משום דאיכא למימר מה להצד השוה שבהן שכן יש בהן צד מזבח

IF THEY, HOWEVER, CAME UNBLEMISHED etc. The following contradicts this: The son of Antigonus brought up firstlings from Babylon [to the Holy Land] and they were not accepted from him [to be offered]!<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' There is thus a difficulty as regards the Mishnah which says that if unblemished firstlings were actually brought up from outside the Holy Land they are offered.');">³⁶</span>
