ורבי יוסי מדשבקיה לבר זוגיה מכלל דבמוכת עץ כרבי מאיר סבירא ליה מנא ליה מלא היתה לאיש

As to R. Jose, since his colleague<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' R. Simeon who, in respect of the betrothed, expressed the same opinion as R. Jose (supra 60a). ');">⁵</span> had left him,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' So BaH. Cur. edd., 'since he left his colleague'. R. Simeon only is mentioned in the case of the wounded. ');">⁶</span> it may be inferred that in respect of the 'wounded', he himself is of the same opinion as R. Meir.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' That the priest may defile himself for her.
