למאי נפקא מינה לעובר במעי כהנת מאי אמר רבה היינו טעמא דרבי יוסי דקסבר עובר במעי זרה זר הוא רב יוסף אמר ילוד מאכיל שאין ילוד אינו מאכיל
Now, what is the reason? Rabbah replied: R. Jose's reason is this. He is of the opinion that an embryo in the womb of a lay woman<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' The daughter of an Israelite, belonging to no priestly family.
