אי הכי אלם ואלמת נמי אמר רבא אלם ואלמת בני דעה נינהו ופומייהו הוא דכאיב להו

GEMARA. Raba said: Now that you have stated<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' In the first clause of our Mishnah. ');">⁹</span> that the recital [of the formulae]<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' V. supra p. 718, n. 2. ');">¹⁰</span> is not a sine qua non, the <i>halizah</i> of a dumb man and a dumb woman is valid.
