והא תמר בביאה ראשונה איעברא א"ל תמר באצבע מעכה דאמר רבי יצחק כל מועכות של בית רבי תמר שמן ולמה נקרא שמן תמר ע"ש תמר שמעכה באצבעה והא הוו ער ואונן ער ואונן שמשו שלא כדרכן
Surely Tamar<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' V. Gen. XXXVIII, 15, 18, 24ff. ');"><sup>1</sup></span> conceived from a first contact! The other answered him: Tamar exercised friction with her finger;<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Having thus destroyed her virginity she was capable of conception from a first contact.
