<big><b>GEMARA: </b></big>What does 'Parwah' mean? - R'Joseph said: Parwah is [the name of] a [Persian] Magus.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Rabbenu Hananel reported that according to some scholars, Parwah had dug a cave under the ground of the Sanctuary, so that he might be able to watch the high priest at the service of the Day of Atonement.
