ואלא זאת ל"ל אי לאו זאת הוי אמינא יאכלנה אורחיה דקרא קמ"ל

- If not for 'this is' I would say that 'shall eat it' is the style of Scripture;<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Not a limitation at all.');">⁵</span> hence this informs us [otherwise]<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Now that we know from 'this is' that a limitation is intended, 'shall eat it' teaches that the limitation concerns those which are eaten.');">⁶</span>
