חטאות החיצונות פשיטא לא כתיב בהו וטבל

yet there is no difficulty: the one refers to outer sin-offerings, while the other refe to the inner sin-offerings.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' In the former case the dipping of the finger does not effect piggul, because Scripture does not say that the priest must dip his finger in the blood, but merely that he must take of the blood with his finger, which taking means the receiving of the blood (cf. infra 48a) .');"><sup>3</sup></span>
