Halakhah for Berakhot 62:20

אל הנער הזה התפללתי א"ר אלעזר שמואל מורה הלכה לפני רבו היה שנאמר וישחטו את הפר ויביאו את הנער אל עלי משום דוישחטו את הפר הביאו הנער אל עלי

"For this child I prayed" (ibid. v. 27). R. Eleazar said : Samuel was one who decided a Halakah in the presence of his master ; as it is said, "And when the bullock was slain, the child was brought to Eli" (ibid. v. 25). Because "the bullock was slain," therefore "the child was brought to Eli"!
