ת"ר המקפה אכילתו במים אינו בא לידי חולי מעים וכמה אמר רב חסדא קיתון לפת

Our Rabbis have taught: He who makes his food float in water will not suffer with indigestion. How much [should he drink] ? Rab Hisda said : A cupful to a loaf.
