אמר רבא לית הלכתא כי הא מתניתא (בכל הני שמעתתא) אלא כי הא דתניא לא יקרא אדם ק"ש לא כנגד צואת אדם ולא כנגד צואת חזירים ולא כנגד צואת כלבים בזמן שנתן עורות לתוכן

Raba said : The Halakah is not in agreement with this teaching in all these cases, but according to the following teaching : A man should not read the Shema' opposite the excrement of human beings, nor opposite that of pigs or dogs when he has placed skins therein.
